spring summer 2013 trends by mila loulou

Black & white - very strong trend which goes together with 60's style. A lot of graphics, stripes, dots and check. Main designers are Moschino, Michael Kors, Ashish and Marc Jacobs. But u will see black & white combo in almost each s/s 2013 collection.





Boudoir grunge - it's all about soft feminity. Tuxedo jacket combine with silky satin pencil skirt and camisole top. Fluid suit with simple bandeau bra top. Pyjama pants, transparency and ruffles. All those are the main combination to describe this trend. Leading designers are Celine, Dolce & Gabbana, Preen and Chloe.





Tropical prints - very sophisticated tropical prints which look to Orient emerge as a key summer Hawaian direction. Overprint with graphic motifs as at Isabel Marant, jungle as at Kenzo, or with tonal colors as at Hermes.




Tie - dye continued - bleed color and dip - dye banded techinques develop this season. We mix tie - dye with pictorial prints and traditional florals. Main designers are Matthew Williamson, Blumarine and Clemens Ribeiro.




Vinyl look - high gloss vinyl and wet look finishes for outerwear you can find at Valentino, Rick Owens and Nina Ricci.




Cobalt blue - the color of last few season. Still on trend, still fresh and we still want wear it! Main designers are Chanel, Alexis Mabille and Chalayan.




Cut it out - sleek laser - cut edge with meticulous designs and inventive placement mastered runways. Leather, pleather or neoprene ensure that unfinished edges remain clean and sharp. Main designers are Balmain, John Richmond and Loewe.

  1. I just adore your selection here, its hard to pick favorites when bestowed with such beauties but I'll go for Marc Jacobs, Dolce & G, Balmain and Valentino.
