"canvas beauties" by William Lords Veoir Magazine
The great thing about the "Canvas Beauties" editorial for Veoir Magazine is that it turns women into actually works of art. Makeup artist Sokphalla Ban created these artistic
looks by splashing vibrant colors on the faces of multiple models. These
women look more like painted female portraits than real people in this
stunning series. Photographer William Lords captured these marvelous watercolor women,
each posing with a different expression. These ladies stood in front of a
white wall, which
looks much like a canvas. This helped to further the idea that they're
painted characters rather than living, breathing models.
